Sword continues production on the Spitfire line. This time we will have an opportunity to build three new late war Spitfires Mk.IX and XVI, which are announced as "coming soon" on the producer website.

Sword from the Czech Republic has announced five new kits in 1/72 that should be in the shops soon. Releases include a tropical Spitfire Vc, P-47N, Ki 44 and two Curtis Seamews, one of which is fitted with floats.

Sword Models have announced they are to release two new moldings of the Spitfire PR Mk. IV's in 1/72nd.

Sword models has announced a new kit in their stable: Japanese Ki-44 Tojo in 1/72 scale.

Sword have released images of the plastic and resin parts for the P-47N in 1/72 scale. Hopefully it will be released in the very near future.

Sword have announced that they will be soon releasing in 1/72 a P-47N and the Seafire L MkIIc. Both aircraft seem to share the common feature of clipped wings. The artwork for the box illustration looks particularly good.

Sword are to re-release their two recent versions of the T-33's in 1/72. This time they will have the addition of coloured PE parts. Also to be released by Sword soon is the P-80A/B. I recently purchased T - 33 USAF and RCAF and with the inclusion of resin parts and I thought it was superb. It can only be better with the bonus coloured PE parts. The artwork for the box illustrations look particularly good.

An unexpected release from Sword are two Supermarine Spitfire's the Vc and the Vc tropical.

Sword have released two Gloster Gladiator kits in 1/72. The two kits feature some very interesting pre-war and early WWII schemes. Including the black and white undersurfaces and the four grey upper surfaces of the Sea Gladiator.

Sword Models have released this classic aircraft design. The T-38C Talon PCP [Pacer Classic Program] is basically the name of the program to upgrade the airframe and instrumentation to improve the lifetime of this valuable lead-in supersonic fighter trainer.
