Welcome to this assembly of Airfix's 1/72 B-25 Mitchell Mk.II.
The review can be found here: B-25 Mitchell Mk.II
The instructions assembly procedure starts with the cockpit and nose compartment. That's where I will start.
I've got paint on the model now. Let me go take some pictures. Check back!

I'm on board with this build as well.
I can't wait to see how it comes together.

Hi Gang,
Thanks for watching.
So far, a fun model. So far (typically) I have spent more time researching colors than gluing and painting.
I'm trying not to let updates go too long so here is some progress. Instrument panel decal is going on tonight and then cockpit will go in the fuselage. Hopefully, I'll have new pix within the next couple of days.
Thanks for watching.

Frederick! With you doing all the research work and posting it here, I'm in for a very easy run when (if ? ) I get around to my build!
Nice engines by the way, no need for resin there!

Hi Magnus,
Thanks, it has been interesting. I've looked at numerous period color photos of B-25s and their R-2600, including NARA photos of the NA assembly plant. I found that some had each cylinder blackened (none glossy) but the images from the NA assembly line show the cylinder barrels black, and the cast heads are steel. The nose casing (not installed in the photos) are always grey, (some with a notably bluish tint), with the governor atop glossy black. The plug wires are a grayish-brown.

Decal just set on the panel - still wet.
