Hmmm, I just purchased the old Minicraft PB4-Y with resin upgrades, vacuform canopies, etc. Is this one new tooling?

It's always the way eh Bill... Same happened with me and the Tamiya Yamato.. although I did get the Musashi but I doubt there was much difference between the two ships.. Put the Minicraft kit and details down and step over to the computer and order the Hasegawa kit..
NOV 01, 2011 - 12:35 PM
No way! Build them both and write a comparrison feature! It'll be a win-win situation!
NOV 01, 2011 - 04:24 PM
I have a funny feeling the Minicraft kit may be a bit below the standard of the Hasegawa kit... How about including the old Revell kit as well, if you can find one...
NOV 01, 2011 - 05:32 PM
I will definitely get the Hase kit, I will then compare and see which one is worth the effort, LOL. Life is TOO SHORT to bulldog some of these old kits into the modern era. Same with the new AFV Club Sd.Kfz. 231 vs. "fixing" the old Tamiya kit.

I have updated the story with the boxart picture of F-104G Starfighter CCV which I found today on the Hasegawa website.
