MPM Production have released two 1:72 kits of the US '50s TT-1 Pinto jet trainer under the Special Hobby banner:

US Navy in 1950s considered introduction of jet powered trainer even for basic training. This conception was verified on the Temco Company's model 51. Temco designed two-seater aircraft powered by single J-69T-2 jet engine. US Navy had ordered small series of 14 aircraft and used them for evaluation of operational training of cadets without any previous experiences on propeller machines. TT-1s served with US Navy until 1960 and later were sold to civil users. Some of the machines still fly today.

The Pinto is offered in two boxes:

SH72206 TT-1 Pinto „US Navy Trainer“ 1/72
The kit contains two sprues with plastic parts and injected canopy. Decals included offer four US Navy overall orange machines with different markings specifically if the machine served for service or flight testing.

SH72220 TT-1 Pinto „Civilian Service“ 1/72
Civilian Service box offers same plastic parts with different decals. The latter offers four markings - machines with Silvester cat or Tweety bird on the fin, overall blue machine with smoke discharger on the wingtips and white machine with color stripes.
