I noticed on the Airfix website last night that they were taking orders for the brand new tooling in 1/48 scale of the Lynx family of helicopters. This evening it has appeared on some Model Shop websites.

So one can only shout “Hurray” as it's out at last. It does seem a long time coming, but hopefully it's worth the wait.
