Glen Coleman (Kagnew) brings us exciting news of a new kit from a brand new company. Kitty Hawk are all set to release their first model - a new-tool quarterscale F-84C Starfire.
Produced in China, with a team that includes Vietnam veteran Don Schmenk helping with the research, the first test-shots have been moulded (visible at right), and kit #KH80101 is due at Pacific Coast Models around the end of April.

We'll bring you more details as soon as we have them.

Until then we can salivate over the instruction sheets. Btw, Sword is preparing a F-94B in 1/72.

Nice!!! Don't know which decal scheme I ll go with....the 60th FIS looks cool, but maybe the 354th.... It looks like on p.11 that the FFARs are there, it seems easy to cut away the nose bay doors to show the rockets. Also, assembly looks pretty straighforward. Can't wait!! Always loved the '50s early jets!
