Polish MiG-29s differ from their Soviet counterparts due to serving with NATO, and are equipped with different sensors, displays and other parts. Luckily Attack Squadron have come to the rescue with an update set.
Modelers inspired with Polish MiG-29 face a problem. Polish MiGs are modified to serve in NATO. Many antennas, displays, reinforcement panels etc made them quite different from Regular MiG-29 fighters. Sometime it may be intimidating to modelers who cares on details to build Polish MiG. Research and scratch building would be hard.
Attack Squadron comes to rescue with dedicated Polish Upgrade sets for MiG-29 both 1/48 and 1/72 scales.
The set contains -
Airframe
•Resin IFF before windscreen or photoetched cover for hole remaining after remove Soviet IFF.
•Two types of antennae, big resin fin or photoetched lade of earlier type.
•Position lights for fuselage hump and belly – two types (teardrop and flattened) from clear resin.
•Small antennae on fuselage hump and right engine cover in two variants of base height
•Reinforcement panels on upper wings from photoetched parts.
Cockpit
•MFCD display on right side of HUD
•R-862 radio display on left side of HUD
•GPS on right side of HUD on aircraft without MFCD
•UFCP control panel with camera recording HUD in two
•GP receiver base attached after pilot’s seat in two variants and three types of GPS antennae
Last but not least are all tiny details like air pressure probes, angle of attack probes, and electrostatic dischargers.
