Special Hobby are planning to update a classic kit from their former Azur range for release under their own label next year. Broadly similar to the main production variant, the Loire 130 Cl featured a larger radiator for operations in the French colonies and served until the early 1950s.

"A couple of years ago, Special Hobby released the 1/48 Loire 130M model kit (in Azur line, kit no. A051). Now, as this magnificent tram-like flying boat is no longer available, we have decided to make happy many of you addicted to the beauty of French hydroavions and release the Loire in the form of the “colonial” version called the Loire 130 Cl. This model, with cat no. SH48172 is due to reach hobby shops during Summer 2018. Now let’s admire the wonderful boxart painting, of course made by Standa Hajek himself."
