For me all hind kits are measured against the newer Zvezda kits as they are the only 1/72 that have the hind twist to that I am aware of. They have a Mi-35 kit 7276. I think the Mi-24 Hind E kit was reboxed by Revell. I think the second would be Hobby Boss Mi-24 87220, while no twist the Hind kit and Scaleworx's resin set would be choice. I could be wrong and welcome other thoughts on the Hasagawa kit, just not fan since the early A kit and I don't think the have changed much since then.

huh.. I guess I missed the initial release. Thanks for the confirmation, that's sort of what I thought. I really love the look of that nose on the 35, but I do not care for the price point. Even with the nose pieces being done in resin. Zvezda set the bar for the 1/72 Hind pretty high for sure. I second your feelings on the Hasegawa Hinds.. pretty meh for full MSRP. I've got a HB Hind , or two, in the stash, but havent even cracked one open. At WORST, they have to be better than the Italeri...
