RV Resin have announced the imminent release of three short run Mig 23 kits in injected plastic:

  • Mig 23P

  • Mig 23 MF “Hellfighter”

  • Mig 23 ML “Tiger”.
I am not normally a fan of special paint jobs on military aircraft, but the “Hellfighter” and “Tiger” look very tasty. According to RV Resin website these three kits should have been out in August. The surface detail looks very good, and being a big Mig fan I cant wait for these releases.

Price: 26.50 euros each.

Linden Hill have announced new Mig 23 decals in 1:32 for various of the Warsaw Pact countries. Hope to see a 1:72 version which would suit me very nicely.

Hi Alan Do you mean these? https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/news/7497 https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/news/7493 Nice looking markings, particularly the Libyian and Iraqi, please do some in 1/72 Linden Hill. It would be great to do a series of Mig 23 using any of these decals in 1/72. All the best. tim

Yep, those are the ones from Linden Hill My quirky side would favour the East European ones as opposed to the Arab countries, but only in 1:72. Next would be Kopro to get their Mig 23BN in production. Else I might have to buy a couple of cheap Academy Mig23/27s to butcher about
