Welsh Models, the leading producers of multi media multi engine kits have announced the news of three 1/72 new releases, two DH Comets and a DC-9 and have released test shots of their new Boeing 747 in 1/144.
Great news from Welsh Models with the release of a DC-9 and two De Havilland Comets in 1/72 scale. In this scale these releases will be very impressive, not many Companies release large airliners in this scale. The DC-9 and the Comet have to be two of the most handsome airliners ever built in MHO.
Also included is an image of the first vac formed test shots of Welsh Models 1/144 Boeing 747 200-300 series. Welsh Models say that a Boeing 747 SP will also be in the pipeline if enough interest is shown. The SP is the distinctive 747 with the short fuselage, but with a huge range, used on ultra long haul flights across the Pacific and Atlantic.
