The set comes in a ziplock bag just like any other decals usually do. The set consists of one decal sheet (somewhat smaller than A5) and one two side printed instructions in color which cover side profiles, above views and description of the aircraft.
The markings
This decal sheet covers 5 post WWII US ANG aircraft, all in overall BMF but with some rather interesting markings.
They are;
-P-51D, 154th FS, Arkansas National Guard. 44-72952 flown by Major H.H. Kirby.
-P-51D, 110th FS, Missouri National Guard. 44-73205, late 1946 or early 1947.
-P-51D, 175th FS, 132nd FG, South Dakota National Guard. 44-73564, summer 1947.
-P-51D, 113th FS, Indiana National Guard. 44-11349, 1949.
-P-51D, 188th FS, New Mexico National Guard. 44-63746, 1947.
the decal sheet
The decals look great, they are very glossy, extremely thin and there's no visible carrier film around the decals. The colors look great and the smallest details inside are accurately placed. Overall it seems like an excellent sheet for someone wanting to build a different Mustang, each features a cool Insignia to add some color variation to the BMF.
Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
