This Pavla set comes in a clear blister pack with some foam backing up the resin parts so they don't break. The instructions are printed on two small pieces of paper together with painting instructions.
The resin parts are cast in light grey resin with no imperfections or other defects. However, the resin plugs are present and they need to be removed.
There is a total of 13 resin pieces which represent the cockpit tub, two ejection seats, two instrument panels, coaming, control sticks, canopy frame detail and a few smaller details.
These parts are a great improvement over the kit cockpit parts, however caution will be needed when painting the instrument panels as no film or photo etched parts are included. The detail on instrument panels is raised. The seat belts are molded onto the ejection seats, some may not prefer this but I think they look much better over photo etched parts which lack the proper 3D look.
Conclusion
Im my opinion this set is a vast improvement over the kit parts and anyone who would like to add some aftermarket detailing items to this kit should consider getting this cockpit set.
My thanks to Pavla for the review sample.
