The Aero 12C Bomb Skid is used by the United States Navy to move weapons around the flight deck and also below deck.
Contents
The model arrived in a 6" X 4" Ziplock style bag inside this we find the parts in a 5" X 3" bag wrapped in bubble wrap and foam.
The 10 parts are cast in a cream coloured resin on 7 blocks.
All parts have very fine details and a free of any air bubbles.
Care will be needed when removing the skid handles due to the very delicate castings.
Instructions
A 6" X 4" sheet of paper has the model information and a colour photo on one side and on the reverse is a black and white parts and assembly diagram.
The Skid handel mounting blocks will need to be drilled out with a 1.2 mm drill bit.
Listed are FS and Gunze paint numbers.
Conclusion
This should be a straight forward build as a stand alone model or in a diorama, which would have to be below deck due to a Helmet not being included.
One other item that would have been iceing on the cake would be PE for the weapon tie downs so these will need to be scratch build.
