Introduction
When Eduard release one of their ProfiPack aircraft kits, they normally come with several decal options, but only one scheme can be used, so Eduard now sell an Overtrees set for a limited time only.
So what are Overtrees and OverLept
For this "review" I have the Overtrees and OverLept set for the re-released Fokker E.III kit. This kit comes with several decal options but only one aircraft can be built, so if you fancy more then one aircraft then normally you would have to pay $30 for a second kit, complete with another instruction sheet and more decals. But Eduard have come up with a very good solution to the problem, sell extra sprues for that particular kit, brilliant idea.
So in the plain white lidded box comes all the plastic injected parts that you will need to build another , in this case, Fokker E.III. There are no instructions, and no decals, and you only pay about one third of the price of the original kit for the parts, in the case of the Fokker E.III $12.95.
The same is for the extra photo etch set, which you buy separately. This set comes in a resealable bag backed with a cardboard stiffener.
Fokker E. III OVERTREES
Item No - 8156X
Price - $ 12,95
Fokker E. III PE-set
Item No - 8156-LEPT
Price - $ 12,95
So for both sets you would pay $25.90, the price of the original kit is $34.95, thus saving nearly $10.
As already stated these sets are only on sale for a limited time, and are only available through the Eduard store. If you are a member of the Bunny Fighter Club (BFC) you can get an additional 15% discount on any purchases.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
SUMMARY
Highs: What's not to like, cheap plastic
Lows: Can only be bought from the Eduard store

About Andy Brazier (betheyn)
FROM: ENGLAND - SOUTH EAST, UNITED KINGDOM

I started modelling in the 70's with my Dad building Airfix aircraft kits. The memory of my Dad and I building and painting a Avro Lancaster on the kitchen table will always be with me. I then found a friend who enjoyed building models, and between us I think we built the entire range of 1/72 Airfi...
