The USSR recieved the A-20B/C Boston as part of the Lend-Lease treaty.
Due to weather conditons on the Eastern front the rear gunner was exposed
to the elements,the aircraft had adapted locally built UTK-1 gun turret installed to
keep the gunner out of the air stream.
Instructions
The Instruction book has 11 pages:8 1/4" X 5 7/8"
Cover page has Aicraft history in two languages
Kit parts that are not to be used are crossed out with a Red Xon the kit parts page.
7 pages cover construction steps and have Interior parts painted Interior Green
where required.
2 pages display the two paint and Decal options.
Back page shows other models avalible from Special Hobby.
No nose weight mentioned so watch out for a tail sitter.
The Contents
Acording to the web this a 2007 MPM released by Special Hobbies.
The model comes in a top opening box with 5 gray sprues in a clear seald bag.
Canopy and othere clear parts are in another seald bag.
PE and Resin parts are in a zip lock type bag.
Last in the bottom of the box are the Decals in there own bag.
All parts have fine engraved panel lines,small attachment points and there was not any flash anywhere on my sample kit.
Very small alignment pins and sockets are on this model!, these are only on the Fuselage and
Engine/Wheel well halfs and all remaing parts will need care taken when glueing together.
All interior parts that will be visable have minimal details molded on ,so aftermarket
or scratch building will be needed.
Cutting the rear radio/gun area is required to fit the resin turret mount and details, this
looks to be straight forward cut.
Canopy and other clear parts are nice and clear,we have a choice of two styles of noses with this release and each style of noses relates to one of the decals included

Decals
Decal are printed by Aviprint.
Decals are in register and colour reproduction looks good.
Thin decal film.
This model should be treated as a limited run release.
Careful dry fitting before touching the glue pot and this
you will have an great looking version of the Boston.

SUMMARY
Highs: Fine recessed panel lines.
No sink marks or flash.Lows: Few locating pins.
FS paint numbers would be nice to have listed.Verdict: Great subject.
Need to take care due to limited run type construction.
A few builds under your belt before taking on the model.
