Introduction

Plus Model was established in 1990 in the Czech Republic.
Our product range is comprised primarily of 1/35th scale resin kits, conversion sets, and accessories which are vacuum cast from polyurathane plastic. ~website~

They also offer an extensive amount of aftermarket upgrades for aircraft in 1/72 and 1/48. From full multi media kits to diorama items they should be on your list of manufactures to check out when starting a new project or sprucing up an a built one. The selection is good and so are the prices. There is a lot a brass and resin in this box for $25 bucks so please consider going to their online retail store www.modelchoice.net for an inventory list or to pick something up.
The Packaging

A colorfully printed sturdy box hold the sealed bag with the photo-etched brass, decals and copper wire. Then in a bubble wrapped pouch you'll find the well protected resin parts and finally the instructions.
The Content

Plus Model use a brass sheet that is thick enough to be rigid yet easily bendable to conform to surfaces and look appropriate. The parts are labeled well too. Something that's important since a few of the supports are a different shape yet look similar. You get a length of copper wire to attach the flaps with the wings as well.

The resin is nicely shaped and of good quality along with being just soft enough to run a riveting wheel. Some of the interior wall detail is truly impressive. That said, you will have to clean up a few places to make the PE fit and the resin to the plastic.

A small sheet of decals is provided to show flap position and while small they are nicely printed and thin.

Plus Model Illustrate the construction in 10 steps. However, when I began incorporating them into my model there was an obvious error. They quickly got back to me with the correction which fixed the problem easily. I'll be publishing that build article very soon but have included the correction sheets.
Conclusion

When you consider what's in the box for 25 U.S. dollars and the difference it will make to this kit, well in my mind it's a hands down winner. Then add the other items they make for the Neptune and you'll have quite an eye catcher at the show or on the shelf.

Very special thanks to the good people at Plus Model for sending me this sample to use in the build and especially to YOU for taking the time to stop by.
