Eduard's 1:48 scale B-24D mask sheet comes in a rather big plastic bag and is protected from bending by two cardboard sheets. Instructions are provided as well and are printed in black & white on an A4 sized piece of paper. The drawing are spread over 3 A5 pages.
As you can imagine, a sheet of masks destined to a four engined bomber is far more complex than one destined to a single engined fighter. In the case of the B-24D mask sheet, this means that one will have to place 100 self adhesive pieces over the kit's clear parts! This will represent quite a lot of work but far less than if you would cut the masks by yourself.
Masks are provided for the frontal glazings, the cockpit greenhouse, the upper and rear turrets, the side windows, the astrodome and the wheels. In some place the instructions ask you to use liquid mask but you can also use the material left over from the sheet.
Conclusion
This is an impressive sheet of masks and one that will save you a lot of time when protecting the clear parts of your B-24D model before painting.
