Product Review
Each of the sets are intended for the Panda or Dragon kits of the UH-1N or the UH-1D/H. I wanted to see if they would work with the older 1/32 Revell Huey’s, so I dug out a kit and laid it against the wall and saw no real difference in the size so I think they will work well enough.
Each of the sets are ready to use right out the package. The pieces are moulded in light gray resin packed in a zip-lock bag. There is also a one sided page for the instruction sheet, included are two reference photos and the coloring guide for painting the bladders.
Casting is flawless in all the examples, well defined, clean sharp detail. The resin parts themselves only require a minimal amount of cutting and sanding to release them from the block.
The Huey’s range was extended significantly, the auxiliary fuel bladders extending search and rescue and missions beyond their normal capabilities. Though limiting seating space the bladders were easy to install using straps attached to the cargo wall. Up to 2 fuel bladders can be installed in cargo compartment.
