Latest release from Pavla is a resin cockpit set including two ejector seat and vac formed canopy, two separate ejector seats and a separate canopy. All are designed for the Airfix BAC Strikemaster kit.

Strikemaster cockpit set.
Contents contained in a vac formed blister pack. Included with this set:
1 x One piece floor, rear bulkhead and shelf. On the shelf there is what looks like a four part tubular structure that could be a roll cage, which is nicely moulded.
1 x Instrument panel and hood with beautifully cast low relief instruments and dials.
2 x Side walls with some framing and instrument details.
1 x Bulkhead and shelf for the rear part of the sliding canopy.
2 x Martin Baker Mk 4P/PA/PB ejection seats, that look stunning. The harnesses and seat activation ring are moulded onto the seat. The canopy breakers on top of the seat are sloped to accommodate the fit under the canopy. So be careful when fitting that both seats are in the correct position
2 x Control stick.
4 x Rudder pedals.
1 x Canopy there is about a 5mm piece separating the two parts of the canopy, which will mean a plenty of leeway when cutting. Transparent plastic feels robust, but the canopy is nice and thin. A huge improvement on the kit canopy.
1 x Glazed covering for the nose landing lights. On the same sheet as the canopy. Item is fairly small so some care will be required when removing and trimming to shape.
2 x Small sheets of instructions and paint guide.

Some surgery is required to the kit to fit the cockpit. The area where the instrument hood is situated and also the area just aft of the ejector seats needs removing. There is a little flash on some of the castings, but nothing a quick swipe with some wet and dry and poke with a cocktail stick wont cure. All parts are cast onto blocks that need removing.

Two are supplied in a resealable plastic bag and are exactly the same as the seats that come with the cockpit set. No paint guide included.

Conclusion

These sets will improve your Strikemaster enormously. The kit itself despite it's age is a little gem so deserves these treats. A small amount of work is necessary to fit the cockpit set and some careful painting and highlighting will bring that nicely cast resin to life. Nice work Pavla. Highly recommended.
