Finally, a new aircraft modeling magazine in town. In depth articles entirely on scale aircraft modeling covering construction, super-detailing, painting, color profiles, reports, history, and over 200 full color photographs all in 66 pages. Flipping through it i noticed no advertising. In the back of the magazine they have all the new releases of Decals, Accessories, Photo-etch and a section called the Hanger which reviews the new aircraft model kits being released. The build begins with a brief history, then goes into the model and the after market accessories being used, and nothing is left out. Some articles have aircraft data with line drawings. I have the Oct 04, issue # 2 with the following subjects.
Kfir C-7 P-147 M Thunderbolt UH-1C Huey gunship Sukhoi Su-22 Mitsubishi A6M5 Henikel He 219 A7
It was the article on the huey gunship that had me sold. It was one of the best huey builds i've seen, and the paint job was very real.
Down fall is that the magazine is quarterly. The cover price is $9.95 a issue with a subscription at $34.80. I think that at this price you can't beat it, no advertising and great articles.
