Contents are placed inside a semi resealable plastic bag and includes:
-numerous straps, harnesses and leg restraints.
-2 x harness clasps.
-2 x back cushions.
-2 x seat cushions.
-4 x ejector seat warnings and parachute pack tags.
-4 x reference tags.
-2 x seat activation loops.
-1 x sheet of instructions.

The coloured etched parts supplied by Eduard are used in conjunction with kit parts 14, 15, 16, 17 and 19. First things to apply to the seat are the cushions and the seat warning, seat reference number and parachute pack tags. Each of the seat cushions, are coloured on both sides and have two tabs that must be folded back. There are a couple of straps to be added to the folded back tabs on the cushions. Next items to fit are the parachute risers, the straps in front of the headrest. These are glued over the moulded straps on the seat. The lower part of the parachute risers must be folded and are where the shoulder harnesses are joined. Before adding the clasp a small slither of plastic 2mm in diameter [take it from some spare sprue] must be cut and glued between the two parts that make up the clasp. There are a couple of things to add to the top of the seat as well, some surgery is required to remove some plastic detail from the top of the seat. Finally the harnesses, leg restraints and seat activation loops are added. The seat activation loops are pre coloured with black and yellow stripes, and they will need folding over to achieve a more three dimensional look. Each of the shoulder and lap harnesses are made up from two parts that are folded over. The harnesses are also coloured on both sides with printed detail representing the stitches. The writing on the red coloured ejector seat tag is clear and readable.
Instruction are printed on one side of a A5 sheet of paper. The black line drawings are very clear taking you through three stages of construction.

Conclusions.

The quality of the parts and the printing really is first class and when used in conjunction with the kit parts will provide you with two superb looking bang seats to place in the cockpit. As this is for a 1/32 scale aircraft there are only a small number of tiny parts to worry about. The rest are very manageable. With the low cost of the kit, this set is really worth considering, the benefits are that the PE parts will bring the cockpit of the Hawk to life.
