What you can detail with this set includes:
Undercarriage legs, wheels, doors and bays.
Jet pipe interior
Nose probe angle of attack and yaw vanes.
Weapons and weapons pylons.
Gun under the fuselage.
Air brake door.
And much more.

The undercarriage has a fair amount of attention lavished on it. Undercarriage legs have intricate PE hydraulic lines and cables to attach. The internal parts of the undercarriage doors, particularly the main gear doors have some exquisite and delicate panel detail to add.
The jet pipe interior also has some parts to add. The kits reheat ring and fuel pipes are enhanced with PE parts. There are two PE pieces that form part of the lining for the rear of the jet pipe and need careful bending to conform to the interior shape of the pipe. The etched detail on these are first class. Eduard do suggest running a ball point pen over some of the detail for a more low relief effect.
Nose probe has some tiny vanes for the AoA [Angle of Attack] and yaw sensors., these will certainly test your eyesight and you will need a steady hand applying them.
Weapons and pylons PE detail parts I reckon take up the majority of the parts on the two frets. There are PE parts for the missile rocket motor pipes, tail fuses for the bombs, and the rear fairing of the UB-16 rocket launchers as well as etched representations of the rear of the tubes for the rockets. The look of the rear fairings for the UB-16 launchers is superb, with tiny perforations etched through the surface.
The Pylons have many PE parts lavished on them and will look at their best if you do not attach weapons to them so all that lovely and quite astonishing detail on the rail where the weapon is attached is not hidden.
The Gun needs some of it's plastic removing to fit the PE parts. Some of the replacement PE parts need bending slightly. Again the level of detail is superb.
Air brake door interior has nine etched parts to add on what is a nicely detailed part to start off with.
Other PE parts including anti blast fences for the auxiliary air intakes, braking parachute housing, pan pipes IFF aerials on top of the fin, upper wing fences, ATO rocket pods, static wicks on the trailing edges of the tail, stabilisers and wings, plus a few other things too.
Instructions are printed on both sides of a A4 sheet of paper. Illustrations are black line drawings with symbols providing instructions. There are no painting instructions with this release, but refer to the instructions that come with the plastic kit.

Conclusions.

This is a stunning release from Eduard that will improve the look of your MiG 21MF no end. Not a set to be tackled by a beginner using PE for the first time. The level of detail is simply amazing, I just hope my images do it justice. Very nicely done Eduard.
