The book is dedicated to Maj Brian "Wolfman"Wolf who died at the age of 37 in an auto accident November 2006. Before which he bravely saved the lives of 30 British Special Boat Service(SBS) troops in the desert of Western Iraq in March of 2003.

Introduction:
This section describes the way the current United States uses its air superiority to aid and influence foreign governments. This section is very informative touching on various military operations and advancements in US fighter jets and future projections of the path that it is taking.

Aircraft Sections:
Strike Eagle
Lockheed Martin F-16
Hornet & Super Hornet
Raptor
F-35 Lightning II

These sections provide the development and future role of each aircraft along with technical specifications and data for each. A highpoint of this title is that for each aircraft are accounts of flying and fighting the aircraft. For example, the F-15E chapter features a detailed account of a low-altitude scud hunt turning nasty, with the jettison of their weapons and evasive action while avoiding a mid-air collision with the wingmen.

Conclusion:
This section concludes the book and offers speculation in to the future of these aircraft and the roles that they will play in future "what if"scenarios.

Abbreviations:
There are six pages of abbreviations that are used through out the book that these pages explain.

Selected Reading:
Provides other titles and sources where some of the information provided in the book were derived from.

Provides credit to all the photograph contributors I listed above.

Index:
Self explanatory

Photography:
The photos in this book are some of the best I've seen with once in a life time shots and just amazing points of view. Caption's are provided with most of them and are very descriptive.

Text:
I found the book pleasing to read with out errors.
Conclusion
My Conclusion of this book is that I would recommend not just modelers but aircraft enthusiast in any form to purchase this book.It will make a fine addition to anyone's library and the pictures are a work of art.

Comments

This is probably the only book that combines all modern U.S. fighter jets under one cover with very good tech and spec information.
