Although the moulded cockpit detail provided with the Tarangus 1/48 Saab A32A Lansen kit is good, it does need some very careful painting as well as some good cockpit reference. This release from Maestro Models will provide you with the components to create a stunningly detailed cockpit.

Inside the re sealable packaging is:
-1 x pre coloured photo etched fret.
-1 x A4 sheet of instructions.
The pre coloured photo etch fret and the instructions have the hallmarks of being made by Eduard. So the quality of the product is assured. The pre coloured fret includes superb looking instrument panels for both crew members. The black painted parts vor the instrument panels have excellent representations of the instrument. The parts are attached to the rear of the front of the instrument panels. There are also excellent looking parts for the side consoles. The overall colours for the instrument panels is very reminiscent of the green used in Soviet military aircraft. The kit parts that the photo etched fit to need the low relief plastic detail removing.
A very welcome inclusion is that of the seat harnesses. There are five parts to make up the complete harness assembly for each seat, and they look very convincing indeed. The black coloured straps have some nice stitching detail on them The fasteners and buckles look particularly good. Some folding of the parts is required. Also included for the seat is the red seat activation cord situated on the top of the headrest.
Other cockpit details included are two individual rudder pedals for the pilot and a simpler looking one piece rudder pedals for the navigator. Additional cockpit detail included is for the inside of the fuselage walls, the sills where the canopy fits and a canopy mounted mirror. Instructions will be very familiar if you have used Eduard photo etched parts before. One thing that is slightly different is that the areas in the cockpit that requires parts from this release are highlighted in red.
Conclusions:
This interior [cockpit] pre coloured photo etched release from Maestro Models should make life a lot easier and quicker detailing the cockpit. Hopefully the cockpit of your Lansen will be a real focus point for your completed model. Very nicely done Maestro Models.
