Spark plugs - are devices for delivering electric current from an ignition system to the combustion chamber of a spark-ignition engine to ignite the compressed fuel/air mixture by an electric spark, while containing combustion pressure within the engine. A spark plug has a metal threaded shell, electrically isolated from a central electrode by a porcelain insulator. The central electrode, which may contain a resistor, is connected by a heavily insulated wire to the output terminal of an ignition coil or magneto. The spark plug's metal shell is screwed into the engine's cylinder head and thus electrically grounded. The central electrode protrudes through the porcelain insulator into the combustion chamber.
The Kit Parts
14 short shank insulator, spark plug upper ends.
Something for "larger scale" modellers: Spark plugs in 32 scale. It's very simple product and very useful. Roden and WNW models don't have these items in their kits. These are short shank insulator versions seen on many 170hp and lower horse powered motors. These could be applicable to Allied or Central Powers rotary or inline motors.
Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
Highs: Well detailed parts that enhance any 1:32 scale motor.Lows: Spark plug cable attachments would be nice.Verdict: Well worth the price and tyheir addition to your build will add details that many manufacturers forgot.

Hundreds of 1/72 scale Revell and Airfix kits later my eyes started to change and I wanted to do more detail. With the advent of DML / Dragon and Eduard I sold off my ...
