Introduction
Techmod has prepared four new sets of decals, each with five painting options for 1:72 and 1:48 scale Hungarian Focke Wulfs Fw 190F-8. We have two sets in each of the mentioned scale. As it is not difficult to guess planes depicted in these sets were used during winter of 1944/1945 during deadly struggles in Hungary, area and time period which is a bit forgotten in contrast with all-time-popular Battle of Britain or Normandy1944. Thanks to Techmod we can put some light on this through our collections and hobby in general.

Decals and instruction
From the technical point of view decals look very good. Edges are sharp and no misalignment of colours. Carrier film is cut very close to the marking and barely perceptible under the finger tip. Print is sharp and free of any misalignment. My experiences with their latest products were so far positive as the decals were nicely reacting with Micro Sol and Set fluids, which I use, and smoothly laid in panel lines and rivets, although here and there needed some gentle soft brush stabbing.
Instruction sheets are simply folded pages with colour camouflage patters and details about placement of particular decals. A separate drawings are dedicated only to the stencils and technical markings. As a reference we can find a table with necessary colours in accordance to Federal Standard (FS) numbers, short bibliography of references and recommendation of the best kits of Focke Wulfs fitting to the depicted planes.
Drawings and camouflage schemes are the same for respective sets in both scales so for presentation purposes I have used scans based on 1:48 scale sets, however scans of decal sheets present both 1:72 and 1:48 scales separately.
Conclusions
In general I appreciate the presence of these two sets on the market. With these sets you can finish your model of a very popular aircraft in somewhat extraordinary markings. Hungarian modellers and those who are interested in niche topics will be pleased for sure. You get a good product which will distinct your kit from others. Quality of the Techmod decals is already confirmed by many modellers around the world.
