The Fokker Eindecker, was the first aircraft armed with a machine gun synchronized to fire through the propeller. It was powered by a 80hp Oberursel U.0 (license built 80hp Gnome) and employed wing warping to make lateral movements. Fokker E.I 13/15 flown operationally by Max Immelmann marked the beginning of the “Fokker scourge”. Subsequent versions (E.I - IV) were marked by increase wing area and higher horsepowered engines.

This set is designed for Wingnut Wings kit. It has 9 micro-textile straps and 10 photo-etch pieces. This set is identical in contents to the other HGW Eindecker seatbelt sets for the WnW versions(which appears to be historically accurate.) But be sure to check your references. The E.Iv did have one specific variation of just the lap belt.
Made of micro-textile sheeting, metallic buckles.
Made by special micro-textile strips which is printed and behaves like a fabric.
Set contains seat belts for 1 single-seater aircraft.
Micro-textile parts are prepared to using filters - it leads to darkening shades - and these are also waterproofed and easy to carefully assemble.
Photo-etched parts were developed in cooperation with Eduard company.
Instructions
1. Take the precut textile part out of the sheet.

3. Crumple the belt into a little ball and knead it between the fingers.

5. Put the belts into the seat.

Impression
I have used the WWI aviation subjects of the HGW Micro-textile belts in some of my builds and can report very pleasing results. I have include the image of the WnW PE fret showing the harness setup for comparison with the HGW set. The 3 gunned E.IV version was built for Immelmann and the uncovered forward fuselage is shown here. The other shot are of other E.IV aircraft.

Hundreds of 1/72 scale Revell and Airfix kits later my eyes started to change and I wanted to do more detail. With the advent of DML / Dragon and Eduard I sold off my ...
