This is 6 cylinder aero engine Austro-Daimler 120PS six-cylinder engine was designed by Dr-Ing Ferdinand Porsche and first produced in 1911. It was was also licence built in Great Britain as the Beardmore 120HP engine.

The kit is boxed in a very sturdy 4 1/2" by 7" box. inside are 12 zip lock baggies containing all of the parts. The baggies contain the engine block, Photo-etch parts, detail wire and the other baggies are marked "A" through "H" and these contain the resin and CNC milled parts that correspond to the assembly instructions. The instructions were provided by an online PDF and contain detailed assembly instructions, period diagrams and full build pictures.

SUMMARY
Highs: The resin parts very highly detailed. Inclusion of detail wire and PE parts takes the detail to another level.Lows: Some minor bubbles to deal with on some parts. Anyone used to building resin will have no problems with these.Verdict: This is a very highly detailed, stand alone multi-media kit of an important WW1 Engine that will really stand out in your collection.
