History
The F-15E is a dedicated attack variant of the basic F-15 air superiority fighter. Equipped with a second crew member who manages the sophisticated Nav/Attack systems, the F-15 is capable of performing any desired close support and attack mission in any kind of weather. An F-15 Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) was once quoted during a documentary “The guy in front rows the boat while I shoot the ducks.”
The Jet Fuel Starter is a small turbine engine (Auxiliary Power Unit) located in the lower fuselage just forward of and between the F-15's engines. It is used to provide the power necessary to start the Eagle's engines. It is powerful enough to start either engine, but not both simultaneously.
First impressions
This is a small detail part which may be used in any F-15 kit. It consists of one resin part, and a fairly large instruction page which details the work necessary to install it.

The starter exhaust is moulded in one piece with a respectably deep opening and thin walls which will look very realistic once it's mounted in place. Cleaning it up and gluing it in place will be extremely simple once the careful work of opening out the mounting hole in the lower fuselage is complete.
