About Griffon65
I started building 1/48 scale aircraft in about the year 2000 with a Tamiya Bristol Beaufighter. Since then I have loved WW2 fighter aircraft and built about 20 during my school holidays, but up until 2008 I had always hand brushed my models, and after seeing on the internet how good some people's models looked when compared to mine (many had been made using an airbrush) I became quite depressed about it. This eventually culminated in me throwing out all of my model planes and moving on to pre-made 1:18 scale diecast models. I still maintained my love of WW2 fighter aircraft, although it was expressed by buying diecast models of them. Now in early 2011, however, I finally bought myself an airbrush and I'm having a great time getting back into the hobby.
