1961 Built, Served in the Merchant Navy as a Deck Cadet 1978-82 3/0 1982 made redundant, thence Plymouth Polythechnic 1982-85, Bsc In nautical science, been working shoreside in the Shipping Industry since then as Ship Operator / Broker. I have been building models since I was five, first model the Airfix 1/600th HMS Cossack. over the years I have drifted around the Genres, but settled on building ships about 10 years ago, main Interests, anything Royal Navy 1860 - the present Day, and the Battles of the Atlantic (both World Wars) Recently got into 1/350th scale because of a proliferation of intersting subjects in both Plastic & resin.
