Like many people I started building kits before I was aged 10 until the real world came and grabbed me sometime in my early twenties. I returned to the hobby 15 years later, building 1/72 WWII aircraft more or less from the box at first, adding more and more AM gear and spending a lot of cash on the way. This continued until I almost gave up altogether. Why? Well,I became fed up with trying always to obtain the perfect result and failing. Now I build for fun and fun alone, if it looks right it is right in my book. I still admire those of us who do turn out the perfect replica and their work still inspires me. Me? I build what I can when I can...... and love every second.
