Started modelling with a Starfire at about 10 years old but took a while to produce anything better than bad. Started scratch-building working ship models between 1979 and 1997 having several articles published but work and other interests eventually intervened. Started modelling again teaching Air Cadets about 2005 and discovered Eduard kits and Tamiya paints. Joined Aeroscale in 2008 and now definitely a campaign addict, preferring early subjects but building anything that takes my fancy, so long as it has wings. Qualified pilot and instructor, which only increases the interest.
