About firekit
Thirty years in Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service 1973 - 2003. Built models aircraft, WW2 vehicles, but my main interest are fire fighting vehicles. Up until a year ago I had NEVER met friends or work mates interested in model making. So building, on and off since I started at 15 I didn't improve much until now, (all those wasted years). That has put me in "real, old newbie" I've got to learn a lot more now. Still the club I joined are fantsic, very helpful. Makes me fell young again.
