About golf
My first models were balsa and tissue flying jobbies (usually, like a brick)in the early 1950s. Then came plastic kits from Frog and early Airfix until work, beer and marriage put paid to a promising modelling career. Once my son became of age I got the urge again for a few years until he started producing better results than his dad. For the last few years of my career I spent a lot of time working overseas and rekindled the modelling game...to avoid too many nights overeating and drinking. This time I'm sticking with it now that, since retirement, I have the time to take a bit more care and be more adventurous, especially in the long, dark winter nights.
