I am an Air Force Brat, and my father was an F-4 pilot as well as an aviation artist. I had airplanes around me all the time. From what I can remember I started model build around the age 6. The first kit I remember building was a snap type B-25. The first kit I remember painting was in 3rd grade and it was a 1/72 F-86D which I painted one wing red and one wing blue to my fathers dismay. I received my first airbrush (Badger single action bottle feed) in 4th grade and built a ton of matchbox kits while living in Germany. I had about 80 models on my ceiling which either my father or I build before I went off to college. I then took ten years off to start my carrier get married etc. I did not seriously get back into the hobby until I was 30. Now I have the man's cave, library and stash to go with it. I am currently the IPMS DC VP Here is my current project break downs.
