I started modelmaking in 1962 with the Airfix 1/72 Zero. I caught the bug and built all the kits I could lay my hands on. Subject matter was immaterial and I built anything from trains to planes.I eventually settled on aviation and then in the early eighties decided to specialise in the Luftwaffe in 1/48 scale. I am married with four grown up children and two dogs.I retired 3 years ago and devote all the spare time I can to my hobby.
