Heinkel He-219 A-7

This is Tamiya's kit of the H-219 Tamiya 1/48. I added photo-etched details from Eduard.

The model was painted with acrylic automobile paints matched to RLM 76 and RLM 75.

My Uhu was painted using the Paasche VL airbrush. The camouflage pattern was sprayed freehand, with the RLM 76 applied over a base of RLM 75 on the upper surfaces.

On the camouflage pattern, I used very thin RLM 76 to obtain a diffused mottle pattern and a smooth transition between the topsides and the color of the lowersurfaces of the model.

The panel wash was made with Pro Modeller's Weathering Wash.

After that, I applied RLM 75 with a little black on the panel lines and details. Pastel pencil was also applied in some areas for to simulate the exhaust stains.

Finally, the model was sealed with acrylic lacquer (again, for cars) mixed to give a satin finish.

Thank you The advantages of acrylic are: dry very fast, more economical, the termination is excellent, the colors do not change with time or sun, very easy for airbrushing. Greetings
