I've been interested in a couple of planes due to the fact that I have family that was involved with these planes. If you're familiar with leif Dietrichson, he's in my direct family. I know that when he flew with amundson he flew a couple of planes, including a Dornier Wal, which I've been able to find a military version of, and the Latham 47 when he and Amundson were lost on a rescue mission to the pole.

Does anyone know of a latham 47 kit or vacuform? I can't find one anywhere, and I can't find a lot of research on it either.

Like i said, i've found a Dornier Wal, but it's a military version that will need modifying to depict the polar explorer version, and I am having a hard time finding material on it. Any guidance would be welcome!

thanks guys.

Don't give up hope. There has to be something somewhere on it. As far as a vacuform. I don't know anyone who did the Latham.
