From the horses mouth...

http://www.eduard.cz/newsletter/i2008-01.php The second quarter will see another new release, which will be the Fokker Dr.I in 1/48th scale. This will be our best WWI effort to date. We are working on the final concept of the Dr.I boxing right now, and it is most likely that we will do this one as a Dual Combo style with parts for the F.I in this box, meaning there may not be too many boxing variants with this kit.

In the third quarter, we will release another two WWI projects, the SPAD XIII and Fokker E.III, along with the Fw 190F-8 and Bf 110D. All these kits are 1/48th scale kits, naturally.

Hi Lars,
But is the Italeri one a reboxing of Eduards Kit or something completely independant?
I would look forward to any release of this kit in 1/48... But do I have the room to display it?

Cheers,

Hugh

Hi
Can´t answer if it´s Eduards or totally Italeri. Have build some of Italeris new kits, and must say they are good.

For me I´ll have to make room for this one.

Great news!!! I wonder if Eduard will have the kit with Leutnant Paul Baumer's markings - I read somewhere he was Remarque's friend and flew the Fokker Dr.I.

But I don't like "second quarter"... I want it now!

Carl,

If they release it as a dual combo like they are known for, you'll be set on Dr.1's for a while.

My motto : I cant have too many kits...just need more space for storage

Isnt modeling fun!

Let me see, six D.VIIs, five FW 190s, six Albitri, do we really think three dual combos will be enough?
