This might be a dumb question BUT....
for major sub assemblies ie:cockpit,wheels etc do you build as much as possible prior to painting or do you paint first and then assemble.
The reason I ask is I'm building an F4u Corsair, I pre painted the cockpit and various sub-assemblies then assembled them,but of course,plastic cement doesn't bond well on painted surfaces.
so do I need to to remove the paint from the 2 surfaces to be bonded????
use super glue what do you guys do?????
