Hi all
I intend to start my WNW LVG C.VI in the next few days,
I'm going to build 4802/18 Eleynor as "Mia " was my cats name(and I like the arrow on the side )
I'm looking forward to this build as there are some new Techniques I want to try i.e wood grain painting and detailed rigging(turn buckles etc)
Please be ready for some silly questions
will post some pics soon
Andy

Hello Stephen and the rest of the WNW crew Okay: I just enlisted for the WNW Build. I ordered my kit, the SE-5a. I will gather my reference material, although it seems the more references I get, the less I build. I am an OOB builder, but enjoy adding a few details, I like Terri's turnbuckle idea and used it once, so it will be fun for me to do this. I will post the pics as I progress. I think the kit itself has quite enough reference material for my likes. If there is something out there that hits my switch I will probably pick it up as well.

Cheers

Welcome.

Eduard has released a PE set that looks fantastic. I am awaiting mine, but still managed to get some of the parts pre-painted as I am waiting for the oil paint on my LVG to dry. I am not planning on doing much else until it arrives. The SE 5a is an amazing looking kit. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Well, the guy in charge isn't back from lunch yet. But I don't think he will mind.

You can sign up in the campaign section.

I have a feeling Josef Mai's might be in there. Just a gut feeling. Definately Fritz Rumey's.

Now "The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

We have the WNW GB off to a fine start and most everyone has a good begining on their kits. Its time to unsticky the WNW GB and let them grow on their own. This does not change the GB status and I will keep everyone's link over on the the Campaign title under the thread there.

It will soon be the US shipping cut-off date. My birthday / Christmas wish for a D.V looks to be dashed.

Hi all!

I see myself as primarily a WWII to modern builder and WWI have always scared me away!
Too much wires, wires everywhere!

Altough this, I´m facinated by the strings and wires, and above all, i´m a addicted 1/32 scaler!

Soooo, when Wing-nut-Wings released their beautiful kits, I couldn´t resist!
The commitment to their subject(s), the detail and quality of moulding, adding etch and after market quality decals, the combined Building instructions and reference-book, the top-notch package overall makes these kit value for their money, even if they are a bit pricey!

I have bought all except the Se5a, only because I already have the Roden issue.
Now it seems as it is time to finally build one!

I´ll join in on this Campaign and I´ll probably build the "Biff"!

Cheers!

Here is the news from WNW as of today.

"Hi Stephen,

It's all true, except for the 2009 release date for the Albatros D.V and
Sopwith Pup.
We were hopeful but it just won't happen in 2009 though they
will be out early next year (with free shipping).

Regards
Richard"

How did I get left off the list?

Got my SE5a next in line for building with Radu's wire stuff.
