Has any one built this kit before ?

I'm wondering on how accurate it is and what work is involved .

I would like to get the kit as well and I think they are the only ones who make it in 48 scale .

Oh yeah , and a kit of the Pfalz D.VIII , is there one out there ?

Thanks

The Sierra kit is unknown to me. On the Pfalz D.VIII Tom's Modelworks had a Vac and a resin 1:48 kit. I have built the resin kit. Rigging it it is the main subject of my rigging download and CD at my website.

I have the windsock for both aircraft and did a search on the net , but with Tom's not up and running again can't go through there . And was wondering on a different route . I then came across the sierra kit , kit #40 it is a rather neat looking two seater ( Halberstald build version would be most wonderful ) .

Thanks for the feed back Stephen , how is the Pfalz kit to build ?

If you want an interior. You have to scratchbuild it. I replaced the motor with a resin version. I also replaced the propeller with a woodn version from martin Digmayer. Here it is just before I finished it. I added black to the pilot's right side of the horizontal tail and rear fuselage about 1 day later.

Thank you very much again Stephen . I have seen your build but only the odd pic here and there . Cool that Karaya makes the DFW , now just have to see if the hobby shop is able to bring them in .
