This is what you will get if you use the superlative Ju88A1 from Revell and the very good resin set from L'Arsenal to move to the A4 version of this versatile aeroplane. It is not a shake and built process and a lot of care is recquired with the petite and fragile resin parts. Instructions are very well done and precise. Decals are given for planes from the KG3 "Blitz geschwader" and KG51 "Edleweiss geschwader". I have used the Eduard's masks, german seat belts and JU88 wheels for my bird and nearly exhausted my Gunze stock of 70/71/02. I have build this model for my friend Jacques Druel, L'Arsenal owner, as I thought it could help him with a decent presentation of his product.

Hi Jean,

Very nice work once again!

I see you had some difficulties to get a big enough background picture for this monster... It must be complicated to shoot photos of such a big model!

Hi Jean

Beautiful work! It deserves a construction Feature to show how to do the conversion.

All the best

Gadzooks, Jean- that looks marvelous. The scale is indeed staggering- and the fit looks to quite nice- unless that your prodigious talent making it merely look so. Are the clear parts in the conversion set injection-moulded?

Cheers!

Hey Chuck! Glad to find you here , you are a man of taste! yes the new glass aeras and the bolo turret are injected parts. The fit is pretty good and the resin is top class. there are some minor shortcomings to acheive a true A4, but nothing insurmontable.
keep in mind that you need Eduard's masks (a must), seat belts and wheels beside the resin set, a fact to consider for your budget.
best regards to Manhathan beach for me!

Hello Rowan! So sorry to say no, I had a lot of trouble with the size of the kit, a drastic departure from my usual scale, and been busy for two weeks before finishing the beast, so I did not feel like doing an article. Regards, jean.
