Hey Chaps, here is my latest aircraft kit, i can safely say its the first Kite i have completed 100% in about 6 years, so call me an aircraft noob, im more of an armor modeller, but im in a bit of a phase
So here we are, paints, for the first time in 5 years i used humbrol enamels, i used em when i was a kid, in the days of airfix and revell, paint stains and glue blobs eh. so finishing an aircraft is a lot different to armour, so its not perfect. but im quite happy with it.
i used a dark grey brown black oil wash for the panels, and did oil streak staining on the underside. i did lose a few parts to the carpet monster, but luckily no wings i did a little piping on the engine, the top was done to photos, but the brass coloured pipes were just to fill a gap.

That was surely a painfull built wasnt it ? The ICM isnt the best one. But You did a good job.
