Thats a very interesting and intricate colour scheme there Jesper! Cant wait to see the finished result.
Well I too have finally been able lay down some paint, just have to wait for it dry then gloss, decals and finish her off.

More soon...hopefully.

Cheers,
Nick.

I have just finished applying the last few stencils to my build. Drying overnight, clear coat tomorrow then maybe a light wash, and she's done.

Cheers, D

Hi,

Here's some work in progress: everything that will go under my F-16C mostly covered in primer.

Just a week to go...

Justin,
I'm sure I'll find some pin-ups in the decal stash.
That campaign starts in April 2012, right?

Cheers, Stefan.

Well, I've got the basic scheme down, I'm using a white tail to improve the looks of the tail decal, it will get the few visible bits of paint touched up after the epic decalling session

And decalling has begun. I'm about 1/2 done the tiger scheme decals as of now, but the ones that are left are the really fiddly ones. Then it's my least favourite part of any modern build, stencilling.

Nice shading effect, Nick. Looks good.

Nice to see I am not the only one with a lot of decalling, Adam. Looks very good and it seems your decals have settled well.

I have now finished my Italian 1000 hours anniversary aircraft. Very cool and striking scheme if I might say so myself
Very large decals that requires some care to get right, but the Italeri decals are from Cartograph and they are very forgiving. Very fun build.

Comments welcome

Well my effort looks positively BLAND compared to those schemes Adam and Jesper

Anyway, I'm calling this one done ! My first modern jet, and I enjoyed it a lot. I was a bit confused at first looking for the propellors on the sprues, but it sunk in after a while

Sorry for the crappy pics, the digicam is on the blink. I will be adding some weapons at some stage down the track, and maybe work out a flight display stand.

Thanks for a great Campaign Keeper, it's been fun to take part and watch the great work going on.

Cheers, D

@Jesper, that's one unique scheme and it looks great. As to my decals settling nicely, it's amazing what copious amounts of Solvaset can do.

@Damian, that's a nice clean build. Well Done and you prove that you don't need a showy scheme to get a nice modern jet.

Thanks for the comments, guys. appreciate it.

Nice Viper, Damian. I recommend to try one with full load of ordnance in the future. Sometimes the ordnance are small detailed models in themselves.

Great campaign!

Hi,

Fantastic F-16's here, guys.
The scheme on Jesper's F-16 is so cool.

I do not think any longer that I can make the deadline with mine. No F-16 campaign ribbon for me.
I did enjoy the campaign: it finally got me started on my Tamiya F-16's.
Hopefully, I'll do better in the "pin-up II" campaign.

Cheers, Stefan.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Incredible what one can get for 30 USD / 20 Euros. An Italeri (ESCI?) 1/48 F-16 with full ordnance and three great decal schemes. When one has some old Monogram F-16s in the stash it is really value for money as one will need all three schemes. The Italeri kit contained full decals for all these three aircraft:

Well, my F-2A is all done - and in just a month! Helps that I had a week off work mind Built wheels up because I've run out of room in my display cases - but there's plenty of space to hang them from the shelf above
