Just a quick question.

Do any of you ever check your PM's(personal messages)?

I have sent out two and received no responses. Both members have been online since. At least one was a staff member.

I would never allow my moderators to ignore PM's at my sites.

Just trying to help. No dis intended.

I have to admit I do miss the PM notice on occasion. We use to have a sound when coming to the page but newer browsers had issues with that feature.

Which staff member are you trying to reach?

I won't rat them out. I was just complimenting them on their excellent work.

We all need those pats on the back. Having said that......you are the Número Uno at this site and yet you answer THIS noobs posts. You can't beat that with a stick Jim.

I really wasn't certain how to answer that one. I do answer direct site-specific or modelling related queries but for the rest I'm happier keeping everything in the fora.

If the person you want to reach has an email address in their profile that is always the most effective route.

May I suggest you reply to the PM'S you don't care for by sending them a request to stop bothering you?

Just a tip. I understand. Time is money but we all come from different places and cultures. It's just easier on the noobs.....like me. I didn't know.

I have to admit that I'm guilty as charged too. I don't get many pm's, so until recently didn't bother to even see if there was a highlight next to the inbox in the upper right hand corner. Once I did spot it, I checked, answered, and apologized for not replying sooner. Now I just glance up there when I log in. Just a new habit to get use to.

I agree it's easy to overlook the notification, it's small, hidden in the border and often 'sized' off of the screen. I've had one message wait for several days (a week?) Waiting for me to think of looking up there.

I didnt mean to complain. I love Jess and her work. I just felt like a stalker when she answered me that way.

Yaaaaa.........the mobile format shrinks up some features. Much better on my pc.
