I share with you some pictures of the Boeing 727 Total Cargo, taken in Hercílio Luz International Airport (FLN / SBFL), located in Florianopolis, south of Brazil. For those interested, the following link provides a full story and a lot of additional photos about this fantastic plane. I hope you enjoy and I count on your visit.

A real beauty. I am not a airliner guy but these little devils are really beautiful. Unfortunately, if I am not mistaken, there is no decent kit in any scale right?

Actually, there are a few excellent B727 kits available, at least in resin. Authentic Airliners has the B727-100 and -200 versions in 1/144 which are excellent. They also upscaled the B727 to 1/72 in an equally good manner. The injection molded Airfix kits can be made into a decent looking model with some care. The Minicraft B727 gets a lot of flack but I have also seen this corrected and built to a high standard.

Have fun modeling
Mike
