To make the job easier, I drilled out holes with a pin vise on the rocket pod's front.
Once this is done, just simply insert the rivets into the drilled holes and add a few drops of liquid glue where it's loose. Then you have yourself a rocket pod with warheads extending out as depicted below.
A simple thing to do for most modelers, but the end result definitely beats molded flat rocket pods.

:-) Nice tip Dave Unfortunately Spitfires don't carry them, but I will bare it in mind if I ever build anything with rocket pods :-)
